But wha...Let's be honest - it sucks sometimes. But what I have to constantly tell myself (and surround myself with people of the same mind!!) is to block out all the junk (and yes, most of it is junk) and focus on the KIDS and their future. They matter more to me than what the media says, politicians say or what tests say. It's hard to do and sometimes I think the exact same thoughts but I keep going back to the good moments. Keep a file of good things.. I started doing that this year - keeping notes from kids, parents, other teachers/admin, special things from throughout the year.
